PONTARDAWE AIRMAN KILLED IN RHODESIA
News has been received that Acting-Sergeant David Meurig Thomas, aged 29, son of Mr. and Mrs. Idwal Thomas of Meudw Avenue, Pontardawe has been killed in a trainer plane crash at Bulawayo, Rhodesia. He has been in the RAF for only about a year.
While they have not received official information, his parents are forced to believe that the victim is their son because he was at Rhodesia, and his co-pilot, who was also killed, hailed from Nelson, Glamorgan.
