First World War Fallen Servicemen buried or remembered in Gorof Public Cemetery	David Harris Died 23rd December 1916 in France Grave Located Row 2 No 3. (A68) Inscription:- Fell in France. Greater Love hath no man than this.

Gorof Public Cemetery was opened in 1914, the gatepost marker stone recording that it was at that named as "Ystradgynlais Burial Ground" and that it had been "Presented by F Gough". You can see this in close-up below.
