The War Graves of YstradgynlaisTom JonesTom Jones was born in Ystradgynlais and served with the South Wales Borderers on the Western Front, being killed in action at Ypres in 1917. He was killed at the offensive on Pilckem Ridge aged 25 years of age. The information on Tom Jones has been compiled from a number of sources, including the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, from the Labour Voice newspaper, and the Parish Burial Register (courtesy of the Swansea Archives).
